Ever since my early teens, I've had a love of vintage. At some point somebody introduced me to thrift stores, and I began to know the joy of (to put it rather simply) finding really cool old stuff that-you-can't-find-just-anywhere-anymore. I began to acquire things. My boyfriend would tell you that I already have way too much "crap", but what he doesn't realize is that my collections pale in comparison to those of some I've come across online. Being able to peruse pictures of other people's vintage stuff through various outlets such as Flickr and Instagram, has opened my eyes to just how obsessed one can be coveting vintage treasures.

Since I recently became a mother, I've found myself enamoured with a whole new world of vintage; the world of vintage baby. I used to go into a thrift store and completely ignore the children's section, but these days it's my most favourite spot to look. I'm especially pleased when I come across baby girl dresses, ceramic planters, books (particularly Little Golden Books) and toys of course. It has been less than a year that I've begun collecting vintage baby stuff, so my collection is meek. This however, is a post to share some of the most fabulous collections of vintage baby stuff I've ever seen. Most of these ladies have probably been thrifting and collecting for years, so I can't be too hard on myself. Perhaps in time I'll have a collection of my own to rival, but in the meantime - here is my inspiration.
