When
this image popped up on my Tumblr feed, I had to look into it to see if it was legit:

So many awesome things in this photo, my favourites are the hookah and the black roses. Source |
Their house is definitely a museum! Upon further investigation I deducted that it is true, the original Addams Family television show was a full colour set just shot with black and white film. Maybe this is obvious, now that I think about it, why would they have all black and white props and... yeah that makes no sense. Of course no matter what, in real life when they were shooting it would be full colour BUT I guess what I mean to say is that I didn't expect it to be so vibrant. And because it is, I am obsessed!
The show aired from 1964-1966 so it is basically a dreamy retro 60's home except not dreamy because it's the Addams Family, duh!
This is a colour photo of Thing on the telephone.
A neat behind-the-scenes pic of Morticia, Gomez and Uncle Fester
The bed of nails is the best part of Wednesday's bedroom!
Gomez filing the fence and the Addams' mailbox.
Gorgeous purple wedding(?) cake. Wish it was mine!
Family portrait
Gomez, Morticia and a two-headed tortoise! Probably a pet.
