Heather Gabel (née Hannoura) has a really incredible life that I am so humbly jealous of. Does that make sense? I want to be her, but I'm not bitter toward her.

A Canadian born artist; Heather specializes in photography, painting and collages, creating distinct images that take inspiration from things such as vintage pin-ups and severed limbs; ironic and shocking juxtapositions complete with a little flourish of softness that results in a fashionable, current style that perfectly identifies her persona.

She collects scissors, which is pretty fucking cool, and one of the things she is most known for is designing merch for several great bands such as Alkaline Trio, AFI, Rancid, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, etc.

The woman is extremely inspirational to me, a true entrepreuner and a real role model.
